The SADA Solution: Teaching Tenet Doctors
to Present in Style!
SADA Systems, Inc. has been invited to
present the latest mobility and presentation
technologies to doctors at Encino-Tarzana
Regional Medical Center (part of Tenet Health),
on March 10th. "Believe it or not,
doctors tend to be the most technologically-averse
demographic of professionals out there",
states Tony Safoian, the VP of Operations
at SADA and the main presenter at the event,
"a significant number of them still
use overhead projectors and slides - and
we aim to change that in a big way, by demonstrating
the advantages and ease-of-use of the latest
in mobile computer technologies from various
vendors, and presentation software by Microsoft©
which most people are aware of, called PowerPoint
XP". PowerPoint XP is bundled in the
latest Microsoft Office© productivity
suite, called Office XP Professional.
"Numerous doctors are coming to SADA
for help in converting their traditional
slides and even x-rays to a digital format
for use inside of PowerPoint and other application,
so we though it would be time to put on
a presentation that can reach a large group
of doctors all at once", states Mr.
Safoian.
And since doctors are always on the go,
the presentation will also feature mobile
technologies by Blackberry and HTC (the
makers of the HP iPAQ ©), with next
generation wireless voice and data services
provided by T-Mobile, a sponsor of the event.
"Just as a lot of doctors use overhead
projectors, most still rely on numeric pagers
to stay in touch and in the loop with the
status of numerous patients in various locations.
By implementing technologies offered by
T-Mobile, they can not only be reached,
but they can communicate much more effectively
(whether via phone call, email, documents,
pictures, or SMS), which will help them
make better, quicker, and more informed
decisions in their day-to-day activities.
In the next 6 months, SADA Systems, Inc.
plans to launch several packaged solutions
and programs that are meant to specifically
enhance the technological efficacy of doctors
nationwide.
