GSA Advantage is a government purchasing service of the General Services Administration or GSA. Created in 1949 as an independent agency of the United States government and established to help manage and support the basic functioning of federal agencies, winning a GSA advantage contract requires commitment from the supplier concerning the integrity of the product. Before a supplier can even submit an application, rigorous registration processes with ORCA, CCR, as well as Dun & Bradstreet must be completed.
A post-performance evaluation by Open Ratings Report must also be generated, where the supplier's existing customers are contacted and asked to complete an extensive review of the supplier's performance. The overall-performance is used to evaluate the stability and capabilities of the supplier.

The Department of Information Resources (DIR) provides statewide leadership and oversight for management of government information and communications technology in the state of Texas. DIR's mission is to provide technology leadership, solutions, and value to all levels of Texas government and education to enable and facilitate the fulfillment of their core missions. In order to gain admittance into the DIR, the Quality Assurance Team (QAT) implements a consistent and repeatable approach for quality assurance reviews of technology projects within Texas. Projects are continually assessed to help reduce the likelihood that a project will not deliver a quality solution based on the schedule, budget, and scope commitments made to state leadership.
The Google Apps Certified Deployment Specialist exam certifies IT professionals who demonstrate the fundamental skills and knowledge required to deploy, configure and migrate to Google Apps for Business.

Designed for organizations and individuals who provide professional training and support to schools using Google Apps for Education, certified trainers must go through an application process that involves the passing of online examinations, completion of a case study demonstrating experience in technology instruction and/or professional development, as well as strong references from school or business clients. Additionally, trainers must create and submit videos concerning the Google Apps suite and its innovative use in education technology, in conjunction with producing sample learning materials. After demonstrating extensive experience using and training Google Apps to educational organizations prior to application, trainers must commit to conducting at least three professional development activities related to Google Apps every quarter. Certified Trainer organizations must employ three or more individual Google Apps Certified Trainers.

Earning the Microsoft Desktop competency proves that SADA is an optimal partner to work with by some of the highest standards in the industry. Microsoft launched the new Microsoft Partner Network in November 2010 which drastically changed the overall partner competency requirements. In the past, partners such as SADA obtained certification by passing relevant exams, presenting satisfied Microsoft services customer testimonials and having a certain number of certified specialists within the organization. Under the new Microsoft Partner Network structure, Gold membership requires more customer references and a greater ratio of individuals in a specific competency with less overlap between competency areas. This allows partners to display skills and specializations across several support verticals. Gold Server Platform Certification is designed to recognize and promote high performing partners with a proven track record of delivering best-in-class Microsoft Online, Live@edu and Office 365 services and solutions. SADA's certification is a testimony to the organization's ability to meet the growing and changing demands of the Microsoft Partner Network's rigorous requirements.
